Nightmares and Dreamscapes by Stephen King review

Nightmares and Dreamscapes is by far one of the best books we have read thus far. Although, it doesn't have that much competition. This book is a collection of short stories, that is mostly horror. I personally like The Night Flier only because it was an unexpected ending. Who could have guessed the killer was an actual vampire.

I haven't read much Stephen King, I just don't feel he writes what I want to read. This is one of two complete books by him that I have actually read, so I am in no place to judge. The reason why I enjoy this book is I feel it has more action, it is a genre that I actually would like to read.

Overall, I rate this book 3.9/5. I would recommend this book if you are in need of a thriller.

Look at this playful cheeky bastard.

Sharing a Link/What Inspires me?

Whenever I am down, and need something to cheer me up. I just go on YouTube. Most of the time I just watch FaZe Rain's one million montage, but that isn't for everyone. So I suggest to find something you like and just roll with it.
"Roll with it" wtf I have never said that before.

I don't get inspired, I get helped. Nothing really inspires me to write...I just do. Music helps me write, it doesn't have to be a certain genre, as long as it keeps the outside distractions away (cough cough James).
I guess if I have an idea that would make me inspired, but there isn't something that I look up to when in need of an idea.
Here is a random picture of this beautiful man.

Inspirational Quote for Writing

"I don't care if a reader hates one of my stories, just as long as finishes the book."
-Roald Dahl

I chose this quote because I feel we judge someone else's work before actually taking the time to read it. He is saying that he won't care if you read his work and disliked it, but if you just look at it or not finish it, he won't care for your comment. So please, before ye judge ze book ye must read ze book. This applies to much more things than writing. It applies to hating a song or genre (James) before you actually listen to it. Thank you, and now I will enlighten you with some pictures of this jolly ol' fella.

Just look at this happy man.

This young Roald Dahl looks better than most of us in our prime.

My Preferred Profession

In Creative Writing we were tasked to research a certain job and share what you gathered to the class. Out of all the professions I heard I would say I would go with Marketing. It pays well and I have considered this as a profession before. I have known about the concept and I feel I would be a great Marketer. It sounds better than the dead end jobs I have heard. Honestly finding a job as a writer is difficult. I don't care how many jobs for writing there is for writing, it is difficult to even consider that as a profession.

I would need experience with advertising, sales, and brand management to be a good marketer. You also need at least a Bachelor's degree. This job seems better than being a blogger, I'm not trying to hate on bloggers, but come on they make nothing. Who wants a free lance job? When you could have a job that you don't have to go out and hope to find someone to listen to you.

Marketing is a proven job that will provide you with good pay and a skill of arguing.

Here you can see a happy marketer because his job is great.

Fences Review

I was told to read Fences as an assignment for Creative Writing. I couldn't quite understand the plot and I had no idea what was going on. Although it is probably one of the best books/plays we have read so far in Creative Writing, but that isn't saying much because we had to read First Part last and Montana, 1948.

Fences overall wasn't that great, I would recommend it if you want to I don't know try something new. It is this character named Troy who just speaks his mind and doesn't care what anyone thinks.
I'm not sure where this play takes place but I think it will be better if I watch it. It also doesn't help that I couldn't understand a word because a person in my group got to be Troy and of course this person just loves to do voices.

<-------- The book

James Earl Jones played the main character (Troy) in the play.

Impractical Jokers...Best Comedy on Television?

First, let me explain what Impractical Jokers is. Impractical Jokers is a TV show on the channel TruTV (it is the only good show on this channel). It stars four best friends that pretty much dare each other to do and say stuff to random people. The person who refuses gets a thumbs down and who ever has the most thumbs down has to do a ridiculous punishment. They can get pretty crazy, one time the person who lost had to get piercings for every question they got wrong. On a different episode three people lost and they were punished with getting tattoos. Basically, this show is hilarious and I would recommend it.

The season is over and now it is just episodes I have seen about three times. They are coming to Rochester to do stand up. I am not quite sure how that will because a TV show is different than doing stand up so I don't know how the comedy will transfer over. I am sure it will be a good time.

The reason why I think it is the best comedy is it is more real than the scripted comedies on television now. Impractical Jokers don't go off of a script.
This is the amazing cast.

That is why they are the best unscripted comedy on television.

Introduction

Hello, welcome to my blog! My name is Justice and I am currently enrolled at School of the Arts as a creative writing major. This blog is meant to share my experiences and journeys in class. I don’t know what else to talk about. Welp, my favorite fruit is a cranberry. I like to play video games and I write on occasion (not well). Subscribe to my Youtube channel Outlaw Uprising. I’d rather not say anything more about myself because I’m just a mysterious person. Kidding, I just don’t want to share. Maybe later if I take this seriously. Probably not because we all know me that cheeky ol’ Justice.

Finally, I would just like to say the only thing we have to fear is Kylo Ren’s tantrums and Donald Trump as our president. (Insert epic comma montage just for Kaneil). Oh and by the way I don’t have that great of grammar so if you try and make fun...PISS OFF. ENJOY!!
