Fences Review

I was told to read Fences as an assignment for Creative Writing. I couldn't quite understand the plot and I had no idea what was going on. Although it is probably one of the best books/plays we have read so far in Creative Writing, but that isn't saying much because we had to read First Part last and Montana, 1948.

Fences overall wasn't that great, I would recommend it if you want to I don't know try something new. It is this character named Troy who just speaks his mind and doesn't care what anyone thinks.
I'm not sure where this play takes place but I think it will be better if I watch it. It also doesn't help that I couldn't understand a word because a person in my group got to be Troy and of course this person just loves to do voices.

<-------- The book

James Earl Jones played the main character (Troy) in the play.
